The Spread of the Gospel in the Book of Acts
Iconium: The Pattern Emerges
Success on Mission
Evangelism is successful
when it is done right (with clarity, dependence and boldness).
Opposition to Mission
Unbelievers are fighting a battle for the mind
to prevent the spread of the Gospel.
Endurance on Mission
Bold dependence on the Lord as we testify of God’s grace
is always supported by the Lord.
Opposition to Mission
Opposition to the Gospel escalates when
witnesses are faithful.
The Gospel Mission of the Church is unstoppable.
Lessons for Witnesses:
The Gospel of God’s Grace spread by faithful witnesses,
may be opposed, but never stopped.
• Pray for opportunity, clarity, and boldness as you represent the Gospel.
• Pray for believers worldwide who suffer for the sake of the Gospel.
