The Equipping Ministry exists to equip and release our church body to deepen their understanding and experience of God & His word, develop genuine, Spirit-led living, and consistently invest in making disciples.
It is our hope that you would prayerfully consider taking one course each year to invest in your spiritual growth!
Apologetics and Worldview
Are you prepared to defend your beliefs when challenged? Understanding the Christian worldview and applying it to challenges, helps us navigate our world by discovering truth in a post-truth culture. In this course you will be trained to think clearly when you are on the battlefield of ideas and gain practical insight on engaging a lost world. (Fall Only, Sunday Morning, 10:45am, Oct 13th – Nov 17th) (Charlie Bates and Matt Morgan) Click HERE to register.
Art of Marriage
No matter how well you prepared, once you say, “I Do”, that is the moment the relational work begins. Every marriage is unique, expressed by the colorful personalities of each spouse and textured by the circumstances at play in their lives. Blending these to make marriage work is a divinely inspired art form – challenging to master, but definitely worth the effort. In The Art of Marriage, we weave together expert teaching, engaging stories, man-on-the-street interviews, humorous vignettes and much more to portray the hope and beauty of God’s design for marriage. (Cost $12, Fall – Sunday Morning, 9:00am, Sept 22nd – Oct 27th, Spring – Sunday Morning, 10:45am, Jan 5th – Feb 9th) (Todd & Marcee Watkins and Shane & Anna Wanamaker) Click HERE to register.

Bible Study Methods
Knowing what to read and how to apply God’s truth can sometimes be difficult. The goal of Bible study as a whole is to make application of the Scripture to our lives while the goal of interpretation, within Bible study, is to discover the meaning of the text. Only after we know the meaning of a text can we understand the significance that a specific text has for us. The Bible has one interpretation or meaning, with many applications. Not only will you learn the methods of studying the scriptures but also you will gain a confidence in being able to understand, enjoy, and apply God’s transforming Word. (Fall – Sunday Morning, 10:45am, Oct 13th – Nov 17th, Spring – Sunday Morning, 9:00am, Feb 9th – Mar 15th) (Michael & Heather Harrison and Jonathan & Jennifer Foster) Click HERE to register.

In this course we are going to discover the pathways to discipleship and how you can begin your journey toward fulfilling the Great Commission.
