Alan Greenwood comes to Fellowship from Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock where he served as the associate student pastor and recreation associate since August 2012. Alan and his wife, Laura, have been married for two years and are excited to join the staff at Fellowship and the Conway community.
Alan is a native of Arkadelphia and a 2008 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts degree in Christian Education from Southern Seminary and recently completed the Downline Institute in Little Rock. After graduating from Ouachita he worked on staff at OBU in the athletics department and residence life program and served as an assistant student pastor at First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
Alan sees the growing need for Great Commission Discipleship to be an active part of student ministry. This happens in both the small group and large group settings for the student. It is in those settings where biblical study and life application take place. Each step student ministry takes will be to reinforce and assist families in the discipleship of their students.
Alan and Laura are looking forward to meeting each of you and moving to the Conway community. He will begin his first day in the office on June 2. Alan and Laura ask that we pray for their transition from Little Rock as they prepare for what God has in store for the student ministry at Fellowship.
