This will be a short update just to let you know that things are going great at English Camp 2018. We have a nice camp of 61 people and are having a great time. All of our English Classes and Discussion Groups are bonding well and having great discussions.
Everyone is healthy and ready for Hike Day. This is a little early for Hike Day but we are excited to be traveling to a World War II Fortress that was part of the Northern Border Defense against the Germans. We have frequently been able to be in many of the bunkers that were a part of the defense system but this is one of the command centers and we will be underground for an hour as we tour the fortress.
Our evening theme for this week has been Reign Forever and we are discussing the impressive but imperfect reign of King David in the Old Testament as a precursor to the Perfect Reign of Jesus Christ and the invitation to be a part of His “Forever Kingdom” which gives you a new identity, community and purpose. It has been fun to give the talks.
Please pray that God will open the hearts of students to significant conversations today as we hike 14 miles together and throughout the week and we deliver a gospel message that can change their lives and destiny forever.
For the Only Cause that Matters,
Ken, for the Team
