What an exciting summer it has been in Fellowship Student Ministries!
- Our 7th Annual Ozark Mission Project was a huge success with our students being challenged as they saw God through serving others! 20 team members plus adults from Fellowship volunteering tackled the week with excitement & anticipation of what God would do…and from being there, I can tell you God did amazing things right before our eyes. Students were challenged in how they viewed others, how they were living their lives & how committed they are to the Lord. God truly moved in the lives of the campers as well as the people we served!
- Across the big pond, another 20 team members stepped foot in the Czech Republic where God was moving in the hearts of people we were to engage with. Relationships were quickly formed, friendships made & conversations went deep within the first days of camp. God transformed multiple lives of campers, but did a mighty work in each of the US team members as well. It is truly humbling when we begin to understand that God desires to use us-as broken & messed up as we are!
Now that the mission trips are over, we turn towards back to school! Can you believe we are less than a month away? Oh wait, I am not supposed to remind the students about that…sorry.
With the above in mind, but not mentioned…the FSM staff is busy working towards fine tuning everything for the launch of FSM 2011-2012! We are excited about what God will do this coming school year in the lives of our youth! Stay tuned for details as well as a 12 month calendar of events that is in the final stages. Please join us in prayer that God will change the lives of every student that walks through the doors of FSM!
