The Ozark Mission Project Team will be heading back to Bear Creek this summer to build into people’s lives by serving the less fortunate. Throughout the week, each participant will spend time reading their Bibles, engaging the community in service projects (ranging from painting to construction) & worshiping together as a camp. Here are the details for the 2012 OMP trip!
*Dates: Projected June 10th – 16th
*Who: Students in 8th-12th grade that have a growing relationship with Christ & desire to learn to live out their faith. We will also be looking for two drivers. Preference will be given to parents of students participating in OMP. Our camp may have other opportunities for interested adults to join us for that week. Please let Shane know of your interest.
*Process: Application. You can download the 2012 Ozark Mission Trip Application here. You can submit the application to Shane Wanamaker. We do OMP on a first come first serve basis, see application for details.
*Deadline: We need the apps ASAP. We have 16 slots to fill, and will fill them on a first come (with completed app & deposit) first come basis. We have first training meeting Sunday, February 12th at 2:00 at Fellowship in the upstairs library. Apps should be completed by then.
*Fundraisers: We have three fundraisers on the calendar. Only those who work the fundraiser will be able to receive funds from the fundraiser (Note Dinner & Dance is before the first OMP training!). The three are:
Dinner & Dance: February 10th at Fellowship
Missions Yard Sale: March 3rd at Fellowship
Dinner out: April 17th at Fellowship with Redemption Roadhouse
